Hex Code
Did you know you can choose from millions of colors when you design your website?
A hex code is a six-character code that identifies colors on the web. The six characters are divided into three pairs that represent a color’s red, green and blue values.
FF is the lightest end of the spectrum, while 00 is the darkest end of the spectrum.
For example:
- #FFFFFF is the hex code for white
- #000000 is the hex code for black
- #FF0000 is the hex code for red
- #00FF00 is the hex code for green
- #0000FF is the hex code for blue
If you add it all up, that means there are over 16 million colors you can make using just six characters!
